My 5th visit to Subic and my first time staying at Mangos. From this moment forward, Mangos will be my resort of choice. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the food was excellent. I suffer from insomnia and would sit on the deck and watch the ocean. The overnight staff was just as accomodating at 4 AM as the day staff at 4PM. My best memories will be sitting on their deck at 4AM, drinking a Latte, and eating Chicken Tinola or grilled Mango BBQ Pork Chops. A great place to learn how to dive or just relax. My only complaint is they do not have a huge luxury infinity swimming pool. But with the entire pacific ocean within 15 steps fromm the deck. You will get over it.

Highly recommend it. Staff friendly, location great and every morning you go downstairs and have breakfast with the sea 10 mts away from you. Value for money good also. Only downside i have to say is there’s no swimming pool but with so many other resorts nearby (who charge you a lot more) who do have a pool, a pool rental for the day is cheap if you feel like going in for a dip. (Theres literally one resort next door with a pool) On the last day we had no idea on how to get to Angeles, the owner of the resort personally arranged a bus service for us. Unfortunately it wasn’t running that day and then he went out of his way to find another guy also wanting to go – we organised a car and we all split the costs for a very resonable cost. If i do go back to Subic bay, i’d stay there again.
