Right click on the pictures and select Save Target As to download videos in MPEG format to your hard drive.  This will allow you to save the MPEG file without the media player trying to open it.  Once you save the file to disk you can then log off the internet and open the file from the location you saved it to on your drive.  If you have problems make sure you have the latest media player updates.
